Hints for Fast Smack 'Em

Set the mouse faster. Experiment with what speed is best for you, then stick with it. It takes a long time to readjust after changing the speed. I've gotten to level 3 on Ugly Fast with the mouse set two away from "Fast".
Learn to tap the button to click the faces. This prevents problems with clicking in the correct square, and the pointer drifting out of it before you let go.
Learn to "reset" the mouse's position on your desk while playing. I tilt the mouse so its right edge stays in contact with the desk, and the ball just loses contact. I then move it forward and set it back down. You must minimize the time it takes to do this to play the higher speeds well.
Warm up before playing Ugly Fast.
On the "burst" levels, where many faces pop up at once, remember the order they pop up in, then click them in that order. Deviate only if the new path takes you to the next face to click and lets you nail some other faces along the way.
